The Teacher Guide Book 1 is the first of three teacher’s guides needed for TX Orbit instruction. In Book 1 (Units 2-9), Orbit Vocabulary introduces the concept of semantic relationships between words and common semantic links to express these meaning relationships. Authentic opportunities are provided for students to apply semantic relationships to understand content passages and to ask and answer questions. Students explore multiple-meaning words, shades of meaning, and connotations.
